Scents on the Rocks Candle Making Experience @ Barrel & Heritage

Learn about the art and science of candlemaking as you craft your own handcrafted pet and eco-friendly candle! Choose from our selection of themed and seasonal fragrance options inspired by bourbon, agave, citrus, smoke, and the scents of summer. You'll mix and pour your candle in your choice of luxury vessel:

• The Old Town: whiskey inspired, a smoky grey straight sided glass tumbler

• The Reserve: wine inspired, a dark and glossy marbled rounded glass tumbler

  
  

Either way, you'll get a unique hands-on experience, and a clean burning candle to take home after the workshop. Keep it for yourself, or gift it to that special someone!

While you craft, enjoy the underground speakeasy atmosphere of Barrel & Heritage and a delicious crafted drink! Sit back, relax, and sip on your choice of wine flight, old fashioned, or refreshing wine slushie! The artisan wines and spirit options are sourced locally, and make the perfect pairing for your candle pour experience. 

Finally, complimentary savory and sweet snacks are also provided during the workshop, including charcuterie and baked goods. This wax and wine workshop is a perfect elevated afternoon activity to share with a friend or partner and set the tone for summer sipping.

Each ticket includes:

• Step by step candlemaking instruction by Tracey from Indigo Creations. Select your favorite seasonal scent from our collection, choose your favorite candle vessel, customize your label, and mix and pour your own handcrafted candle with this hands on experience. You will learn about the science, materials, and techniques of candlemaking in the process!

• All materials needed to make your candle, ready to take home at the end of the workshop!

• Complimentary snacks. Partake in a selection of snacks and sweets while you craft!

• A wine flight, cocktail, or boozy slushie from our friends at Barrel & Heritage. Enjoy your choice of beverage made right here in Illinois -- our treat! Additional drinks and light snacks are available to order separately.

The $68 ticket fee covers the full Wax & Wine workshop experience for one person, including candlemaking materials, instruction, beverage selection, and charcuterie.
